AFI.tv features another action-filled weekend of football from throughout Europe

Another great weekend of football is in store on AFI tv with games from the Austrian Football League, Italy’s Division 1 and the Polish Football League on tap Saturday May 8 and Sunday May 9.

Two unbeaten streaks will be on the line Sunday, May 9 as the Dacia Vienna Vikings (3-0) take on the Prague Black Panthers (0-2) in Austria while in Italy the Parma Panthers (3-0) face the Ancona Dolphins (2-1).

Saturday, May 8


The Projekt Spielberg Graz Giants will host the SsangYong Danube Dragons Saturday, May 8 at 3 pm in a rematch. The Dragons won the first meeting earlier in the season 35-16.

The winless Mödling Rangers face a daunting task Saturday, May 8 when they visit the Swarco Raiders in Innsbruck, Austria.

In a Milan, Italy derby, the Milano Rhinos visit crosstown rivals, the Milano Seamen as Italy’s Division 1 heads into the final half of the season. Game time May 8, 8 pm.

The Bialystok Lowlanders will be looking for win #2 Saturday, May 8 when they head to Warsaw, Poland to take on the Warsaw Eagles at 8 pm.

Sunday, May 9

The Krakow Kings (1-1) play host to the 1-0 Tychy Falcons Sunday, May 9 at 12 noon as the Polish Football League winds up its fourth weekend of play.

In perhaps the best matchup of Sunday, May 9, the unbeaten Dacia Vienna Vikings (3-0) take on the 0-2 Prague Black Panthers. Kickoff is at 3 pm. Prague has dropped two close games to start the season and will be looking for a badly needed win.

The Parma Panthers (3-0) will be aiming to keep their unbeaten streak alive Sunday, May 9 at 3pm  when they host the 2-1 Ancona Dolphins who suffered their first loss of the year last week against the Milano Seamen.
