Jones, a native of Utica, New York, brings a wealth of experience from multiple European leagues, having most recently played for the Cologne Crocodiles in 2025 where he threw for 31 touchdowns and approximately 2,800 yards despite facing multiple offensive coordinator changes during the season. His international resume includes stops in the Czech Republic with the Ostrava Steelers, where he posted a 3,456-yard, 38-touchdown season in 2023, along with previous seasons in Switzerland, Poland, and a brief appearance in the ELF with the Prague Lions.
