Alex Kirby is the author of several books including Speed Kills: Breaking Down the Chip Kelly Offense and the Every Play Revealed series. Alex worked for five seasons as an offensive assistant at his alma mater Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, followed by three seasons at Indiana State University. After the conclusion of the 2013 season, he decided that the day-to-day grind of a coach was not where his heart was, however he still enjoys talking about and studying the game from a number of different perspectives.
