In a game that showcased the Carlstad Crusaders‘ offensive prowess, the team improved to 6-0 with a solid 49-21 victory over the Göteborg Giants (2-4) in the Swedish Superserien. While the Giants fought hard, the Crusaders‘ explosive plays and efficient scoring proved too much to handle.

Just like that, it was 7-0. The Giants managed to move the ball but stalled at the Crusaders’ 27-yard line, unable to capitalize on their early momentum.
Erdmann struck again, finding Kullstrand in the end zone for another touchdown, extending the lead to 13-0. The Giants finally got on the board early in the second quarter with an 11-play drive, capped off by a touchdown pass from Luke Lovell to Axel Hagelberg Stridh, making it 13-7.

At halftime, the stats told a clear story: Carlstad had scored four touchdowns on just 11 offensive plays, while Göteborg had run 40 plays for only one touchdown.
Second Half Action
The second half began with the Crusaders continuing their offensive onslaught. Erdmann threw his fifth touchdown pass, this time to Anton Jansson, making it 34-7. The Giants responded with Lovell marching them on an 80-yard drive, capping it with a touchdown pass to Adam Mattsson, narrowing the gap to 34-14.
However, Carlstad was quick to retaliate. De’Anta Sipp took a handoff and sprinted 61 yards for another touchdown, extending the lead to 42-14.
