They are joined by returning teams like Italian champions the Guelfi Firenze and British semifinalists, the Manchester Titans, plus the Belgrade Blue Dragons after a nine-year absence.

Tournament structure and opening matchups
The competition will use a straight knockout format across four rounds. Five top-seeded teams receive byes in the opening round, while the Manchester Titans also advance automatically due to a late withdrawal by a planned opponent. The first round, scheduled for April 25, features two matchups: the Kragujevac Wild Boars will host fellow Serbian side, the Belgrade Blue Dragons, and the Bristol Aztecs will welcome debutants, the Belfast Trojans to Great Britain.

Road to CEFL Bowl XX
The second round on May 16 will see the entry of the top seeds. Pairings are designed to prioritize regional logic and competitive balance while avoiding repetitive matchups from past seasons. The fixtures include the Thonon Black Panthers versus the Manchester TitansCalanda Broncos against the Badalona Dracs, the Warsaw Eagles facing the winner of the Bristol Aztecs/Belfast Trojans, and the Guelfi Firenze taking on the survivor of the Kragujevac Wild Boars/Belgrade Blue Dragons game.
