ELF: Frankfurt Galaxy add DI talent in former Virginia Tech OL Danijel Miletic

The Frankfurt Galaxy of the European League of Football have signed former DI offensive lineman Danijel Miletic. The Serbian-born talent is thrilled to be joining the Galaxy this year:

“After playing at the highest collegiate level I am glad to take my experience to a European powerhouse such as Frankfurt Galaxy. I hope I can help the team to take the next step and bring the championship trophy back to Frankfurt.”

The 6’3 290-pound offensive lineman makes the move back to Europe after spending two seasons (2021-2022) with the Virginia Tech Hokies in the ACC (NCAA DI) at the highest level of college football.  Originally from Serbia, Miletic and his family moved to Germany, where played for the Darmstadt Diamonds near Frankfurt as a teenager. There he joined Brandon Collier’s PPI recruits and earned a scholarship to the Hokies.

Miletic redshirted his first year on campus in 2021 and made no appearances this past fall for the 3-8 Hokies. Miletic was on the 2022 two-deep as a backup offensive guard in the pre-season but failed to see the field.

As an international recruit, Miletic was a three-star prospect, earning offers from UCF and ECU, while having interest from Oregon, USC, and others.

The DI talent joins newly extended offensive linemen Yannic Keihl, Tim Hirsch, and Sven Fischer on the Galaxy offensive line. The Galaxy have also added lineman Matej Bencek from the Cologne Centurions to help protect third-year quarterback Jakeb Sullivan as the inaugural ELF Champions look to get back in the title hunt.
