France: Asnieres Molosses unleash ground game in rout of Diables Rouges
The Asnieres Molosses (3-3) earned a convincing 35–6 road victory over the Villepinte Diables Rouges (0-6), leaning on a powerful rushing attack and stout defense to complete a two-game sweep of their French D1 Elite opponents and climb back toward playoff contention.
Ground game sets the tone early
The Molosses established their dominance from the start, scoring their first three touchdowns on the ground against a struggling Villepinte run defense. Running back Kevin Saint-Hubert was the standout performer, punching in two of those early scores as part of a relentless effort that built a commanding first-half lead.
Comfortable lead never threatened
By halftime, Asnieres held a 29-point advantage, adding another touchdown just before the break to effectively seal the outcome. Although the Diables Rouges managed a second-half touchdown, the Molosses promptly answered with a final score of their own, highlighting their control in all phases throughout the evening.
Building momentum down the stretch
The win marks the Molosses’ third victory in their last four games, firmly placing them back in the playoff hunt as the season progresses. For Villepinte, the loss extends a winless campaign, with the team still searching for its first positive result. Asnieres will look to carry this physical, run-first identity into upcoming fixtures as they aim for a postseason berth.
