Germany: GFL North dominating offensive stats leaderboard at season’s halfway point

The German Football League has hit the midpoint of the 2022 season and in terms of offense, it’s clear that the GFL North has taken a stranglehold on the offensive stats categories.

The GFL North boasts the top quarterback in terms of yardage in the air as well as the two best receivers at this point in the season. Add to that the second leading rusher and and also the fact that 14 of the 15 top players in terms of offense come from the northern conference.

Potsdam Royals QB Chris Helbig tops the passing list by a wide margin with 1,951 yards and 19 TDS.  Donovan Isom of the Berlin Rebels comes in at 2nd with 1,644 yards and 17 TDS while Cologne Crocodiles QB Christian Strong is 3rd with 1,640 yards and a league-best 20 passing TDS. Zach Cavanaugh of the Berlin Adler is not far behind in 4th with 1,592 while Jacob Parks of the Braunschweig New Yorker Lions occupies 5th with 1,162 yards.

Max Zimmermann of the Adler is close behind in 3rd with 663 yards while two Berlin Rebels occupy 4th and 5th as Robert Downs III has 653 yards and QB Jacob Parks has 624.
