KC ‘Ice Cold’ Frost’s 5 TDs Lead Flamengo to CBFA Semi-Finals

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The machine that is Flamengo keeps rolling.

Flamengo quarterback, KC Frost (Dartmouth University) threw for five scores to five different receivers, and Ivan Roichman and Rafael Garcia added rushing touchdowns as Flamengo bullied it’s way to a 43-3 victory of Rio de Janeiro cross town rival, the Vasco da Gama Patriotas.

Diego Dietrich, the former SUNY-Maritime NCAA Division 3 All-American, was 3-3 on extra points. Flamengo Head Coach, Otavio Roichman, cited cornerback, Luiz Honkis and defensive end, Denis Baros, as playing exceptionally for the Flamengo defense.

Otavio Roichman’s team keeps their momentum up, notching a blowout against the team that had given them their closest regular season game of the year, a 20-0 win in September.

The win sets up a Superliga semi-final matchup with Conferencia Nordest #3 seed and 2015 CBFA National Champion, the João Pessoa Escpectros, at São Cristovão in Rio de Janeiro, at 3 PM local time.
