Inside Sport Japan’s X League Player of the Week (Round One)

Inside Sport Japan
IBM Big Blue’s John Stanton is the inaugural X League ‘Player of the Week’. Stanton caught 11 passes for 183 yards and two TDs to help Big Blue defeat Obic Seagulls (for the first time ever) in an absolutely pulsating game at Tokyo Dome.
Many of the passes were on key downs and ensured Obic didn’t run away with it early. Even more impressive, Stanton injured his back during the week and couldn’t practice leading up to the game. An outstanding and gutsy performance and deservedly this week’s winner.
