International Bowl 2020 kicks off at AT&T Stadium in Dallas

The 2020 International Bowl pits the United States against teams from CanadaJapanMexico, and Panama in a seven-game tackle event at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Jan. 14-15. All-star teams from each country and in various age groups will play in an event that spans two full days. A flag tournament (see below) will be held Jan. 12-14 prior to the tackle event.

All International Bowl games will be played at AT&T Stadium, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and college football’s Goodyear Cotton Bowl.

The various organizing associations include USA Football, Football Canada (U18), Team Japan (U17), the Panama Sharks (U16), Mexico Norte (U17), Queretaro (Mexico) (U18), Team Coahuila (Mexico) (U16).

USA Football will have complete coverage of the 2020 International Bowl which kicks off with at 8:30 am CT on Tuesday, January 14 with the U.S. Under-16 squad squaring off against Team Panama.

Flag football at International Bowl

A new component to International Bowl this year is a men’s and women’s flag football tournament, featuring the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams’ preliminary rosters and a variety of international teams for three days of competition (January 12, 13 & 14). The tournament will serve as preparation for national teams competing in the 2020 International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Flag Football World Championships in Denmark next summer. Sunday, Jan. 12 marks the first of two days of pool play before the tournament’s championship on Tuesday, Jan. 14. A tournament schedule and full list of teams competing will be posted at a later date.
