IFAF: European Championship qualifying games continue this weekend with two important matchups

The International Federation of American Football, IFAF, European Championship qualifying series continues this weekend with another two key matchups.

First, the Danish national team will play host to the Czech Republic on Saturday, October 29 and then Great Britain travels to Italy to take on the defending European champions, Team Italy on Sunday, October 30.

Saturday, October 29

Team Denmark will be trying to bounce back from a humiliating 60-13 loss to Finland a couple of weeks ago in their EC qualifier while the Czechs, who suffered a similar fate (42-10 loss to Finland) will be battling to do the same.

Sunday, October 30

Team Italy takes their first step in defending their 2021 European crown when they face Great Britain. The Italians defeated Sweden 41-14 in the European title game on October 31, 2021 to capture their first gold since 1987. Great Britain lost to Sweden 36-14 in a European qualifier for the 2021 championship three years ago.
