Jadrian Clark vs. Russell Tabor: EFA’s top quarterbacks meet for the title

The Nordic Storm (10-1) and Munich Ravens (10-1) head into the inaugural European Football Alliance Championship Game with two of the league’s most productive quarterbacks at the controls, as Jadrian Clark and Russell Tabor square off with the title on the line.

Clark has piled up the numbers

Clark has driven the Storm offense throughout the season and led the EFA passing race with 2,849 yards and 35 touchdowns through eight games, completing 70.3 percent of his throws.

He delivered one of his biggest performances in Nordic’s first meeting with Munich, throwing for 387 yards and four touchdowns. It wasn’t quite enough. The Ravens rallied from a 28-14 fourth-quarter deficit to pull out a 37-34 victory.

Clark and the Storm kept rolling from there, eventually reaching the championship game with a 45-6 semifinal win over the Paris Musketeers.

Tabor has delivered for Munich

Tabor has been the engine behind a Ravens team that opened the season 9-0, throwing for 1,965 yards and 22 touchdowns through eight games while completing 69.7 percent of his passes.

His biggest moment against the Storm came in that 37-34 comeback. Tabor ran for two fourth-quarter touchdowns and connected with Justus Seelig for another as Munich stormed back to steal the win.

Tabor did not play when the teams met again in the regular-season finale, when Nordic rolled to a 55-7 victory over a Munich team that rested a large number of its starters.

That makes the championship game the real quarterback rematch. Clark gets another shot at Tabor and the Ravens, while Tabor returns to face the Storm with everything on the line.
