The Munich Ravens (6-0) return home Sunday to face the Frankfurt Galaxy (3-3) in one of the biggest European Football Alliance matchups of the regular season, with the league’s only unbeaten team looking to complete a season sweep of its German rival.
The Ravens claimed the first meeting 45-26 in Week 3, but Frankfurt arrives in Munich with renewed confidence after an impressive victory over the Paris Musketeers.
Ravens keep rolling
The Ravens have answered every challenge this season, including last week’s 32-24 road victory over the Raiders Tirol in the “Duel of the Alps.”
Quarterback Russell Tabor continues to lead one of the EFA’s most explosive offenses. He has completed 65.6 percent of his passes for 1,420 yards and 16 touchdowns, while running back Justin Rodney has added 326 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Louis Geyer remains a dependable target in the passing game with 20 receptions for 345 yards.
The defense has also played a major role in Munich’s perfect start, recording four sacks and forcing another turnover against the Raiders.

Galaxy gaining momentum
The Galaxy have steadily improved since their first meeting with the Ravens. Quarterback Ethan Garbers has completed 65.0 percent of his passes for 1,429 yards and 11 touchdowns while also contributing 292 rushing yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Brevia Easton has emerged as his favorite target with 33 catches for 463 yards and four touchdowns.
Frankfurt also strengthened its offensive line this week by signing Thomas Le Boucher, who brings experience from both the North American college game and European football.
The addition comes at an important time as the Galaxy prepare to face one of the league’s toughest defensive fronts.
Another big test
The opening meeting swung in Munich’s favor early after Bijon Harris returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown before Rodney rushed for three scores in a 45-26 victory.
This rematch promises to be much different. The Galaxy have found their rhythm on both sides of the ball, while the Ravens continue to play with the confidence of an unbeaten team.
A victory would keep Munich alone atop the EFA standings, while Frankfurt has the opportunity to hand the Ravens their first loss and take a major step forward in the playoff race.
