While the Galaxy remain in the hunt for a playoff berth, the Raiders are still searching for their first victory of the inaugural EFA season after another hard-fought defeat.
Frankfurt looks to respond
The Galaxy had their two-game winning streak snapped in a 38-5 loss to Munich, a game in which they struggled to generate offense against the league’s top defense. Quarterback Ethan Garbers was limited to four completions before Conrad Schumann took over, while the Ravens controlled both sides of the line of scrimmage throughout the afternoon.
Despite the setback, Frankfurt remains firmly in the playoff race and now has an opportunity to regain momentum against a familiar opponent. The Galaxy won the first meeting between the clubs 21-5 earlier this season and will be looking for another complete performance on home turf.

Raiders searching for a breakthrough
The Raiders enter the game after a 40-14 loss to the Nordic Storm, although the final score did not tell the whole story. After falling behind 27-0 at halftime, Tirol mounted an impressive third-quarter rally as Tim Tonko caught two touchdown passes from Steven Krajewski to cut the deficit to 27-14.
The comeback ultimately stalled as the Storm answered with two late touchdown drives, but the stretch showed the resilience the Raiders have continued to display despite their record.
Playmakers to watch
For Frankfurt, establishing offensive rhythm early will be a priority after last week’s difficult outing. The Galaxy will also look for their defense to pressure Krajewski and force mistakes, something that proved decisive when the teams met earlier this year.
The Raiders will once again lean on Krajewski to spark the offense, while Tonko comes into the game after his two-touchdown performance against the Storm. If Tirol can avoid falling behind early, the visitors have shown they are capable of making games competitive.
With the regular season entering its final stretch before next week’s league-wide bye, both teams have plenty to play for. The Galaxy are chasing a postseason berth, while the Raiders continue searching for the breakthrough victory that has narrowly eluded them throughout the inaugural EFA campaign.
