The newly promoted Villepinte Diables Rouges open their 2025 season in the French D1 Elite league Sunday when they travel to Saint-Ouen to face the Saint-Ouen Cougars.

The Diables Rouges were promoted after a successful season in the French second division while the Cougars struggled through a 3-7 season in 2024.

The Rouges rely on former Flash quarterback Badis Grami while veteran British signal caller Ashley Bailey will be behind center for Saint-Ouen.
