Quarterback Jaylen Tregle leads an offense capable of making explosive plays with both his arm and his legs, while Joshua Youngblood remains one of the team’s biggest offensive threats. Defensively, Malik Crenshaw and Malcolm Washington headline a unit that will be challenged by an improving Braunschweig offense.

Despite the record, the Hurricanes have remained competitive in several games, including a narrow 16-14 loss to the Düsseldorf Panther.

Momentum on the line

For the Lions, another victory would continue the momentum created over the past two weeks and further strengthen their position heading into the second half of the season.

The Hurricanes, meanwhile, know an upset on the road would provide a major boost after a difficult stretch against some of the GFL South’s top teams.

With Braunschweig playing its best football of the season and Saarland desperate to reverse its fortunes, both teams have plenty riding on Sunday’s matchup at Eintracht Stadium.
