LIVESTREAM Germany PPV: Berlin Adler @ Potsdam Royals, May 25, 16:00 CET (4 pm, 10 am EDT)

The Potsdam Royals (1-0) will host the Berlin Adler (0-1) as the German Football League heads into its third weekend of play.

These two teams met twice in 2023 with Potsdam earning two easy wins, 64-17 and 40-6.

The Royals, defending GFL champions, opened the season two weeks ago with a 56-21 victory over the Hildesheim Invaders while Berlin lost to the Invaders 49-42 last week which does not bode well for them in this matchup today.

The Adler offense actually looked sharp against Hildesheim with quarterback Hendrik Scharnbacher throwing for 233 yards and four touchdowns. His main targets were wideout Joey Walden who hauled in five passes for 83 yards and two scores, and running back Chrisman Kyei who had five receptions for 67 yards and two touchdowns. Kyei also rushed for a game-high 119 yards.

Potsdam signal caller Jaylon Henderson was in his championship form in the win over the Invaders throwing for 361 yards and six touchdowns. Wide receiver Daniel Pedro had a monster game catching four passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns. Teammate Brendan Beaulieu had five receptions for 99 yards and a score.

The Adler defense will be in for along afternoon and unless the offense can score at the same pace as they did a week ago against Hildesheim, the Royals should come away with win #2.
