The Los Aztecas de la UDLAP  take on the Borregos Toluca Saturday, Nov. 25 to decide the 2017 CONADEIP (La Comisión Nacional Deportiva Estudiantil de Instituciones Privadas) championship game

The CONADEIP is the only full scholarship league in Mexico. Upwards of 15,000 fans are expected to be on hand to watch the renewal of this heated rivalry.

The Aztecas (8-1), coached by Eric Fisher, booked their ticket to the final after demolishing the Borregos Mexico in the semifinal 54-0. Meanwhile, the Borregos Toluca (7-2) (head coach Horacio García) defeated the Borregos Monterrey 31-17 in the other semifinal. The Aztecas only loss came at the hands of the Borregos Monterrey while Toluca lost both their games to the Aztecas, 28-0 and 28-7.

According to the numbers, the Aztecas have the best offense in the league having accumulated a total of 335 points as compared to 201 achieved by Toluca. However, Toluca allowed fewer points (153) in the nine regular season games than UDLAP (173),

The Aztecas are in search of a three-peat while Borregos Toluca is facing the possibility of achieving their first title in the Premier League of the CONADEIP..

The last time these two teams met in the title game was 2014 when the Aztecas prevailed 17-14.

The winner of the game will face the CU UNAM Pumas who won the ONEFA title last week, to determine the college champion of Mexico.
