LIVESTREAM from Mexico: Watch College Preseason action as Pumas Acatlán Face Borregos Mexico

The Mexican college football season gets underway in a couple of weeks. In preparation, two teams, one of each from the two university leagues in Mexico face each other in a preseason exhibition.

The UNAM Acatlán Pumas who were quarterfinalsits in 2015 in the ONEFA (Organización Nacional Estudiantil de Futbol Americano – National Student Organization of American Football) will take on the ITESM Borregos Mexico who finished 7-3 in 2015 in the CONADEIP (Comisión Nacional Deportiva Estudiantil de Instituciones Privadas) and were league semifinalists.

Borregos head coach Jorge Guerra took over the reins of the team in 2014. He also served as head coach of the Condors in the professional LFA (Liga de Futbol Americano). (His counterpart with Acatlán, Enrique Zapata, has been head coach of the Pumas since 2011.

This is the first year that both leagues will play each other on a semiregular basis since the split nine years ago so the best of college football in Mexico will be on display every week.

Mexico won the recent World University Championships beating Team USA in the final.
