The Krakow Kings (2-2) will host the Bialystok Lowlanders (3-1) in this highly anticipated Polish Football League matchup. Krakow needs this win desperately as they aim to finish the season strong and earn a post season bid. Meanwhile the Lowlanders are looking move up the standings and host a playoff game in July.

Krakow enters this game well rested as they haven’t played since May 22nd. Expect a heavy dose of carries from powerful running back Alonzo Brock in this one. The Kings play a physical brand of football that features 230lb Brock running downhill, complimented by play action passes from Polish quarterback Filip Moscicki.

Defensively, the Kings are coached up by veteran coordinator Malik Jackson. This hard hitting group has been one of the most entertaining units to watch this season, as they play with passion, skill, and tenacity. Linebacker Filip Swiechowicz leads Kings defense as one of the most feared tacklers in the league. Swiechowwicz will need to play well today to contain Bialystok’s athletic quarterback.

The Lowlanders have a chance for a home playoff game if they finish out the schedule with two straight wins. Head coach Troy Baker has kept the season afloat despite a litany of injuries and adversity. This team could hit its stride at the right time and go into the playoffs at the top of their game. Offensively, quarterback Derrick Evans Jr brings an accurate left and speed to this offense. Look for him to target French receiver Banjamin Lolmede often today.

Lowlanders Konrad Paszkiewicz  and Jamie Cumberbatch provide Bialystok with consistent play on the front and back end of the defense. Look this defensive unit to play well as they aim to force turnovers against a Kings team that has struggled to take care of the ball this season.

This is essentially a playoff game for Krakow as they currently to hold onto the fourth and final playoff spot. The Lowlanders, on the other hand, have to win out in order to secure a home playoff game as they currently hold the third seed.
