LIVESTREAM: Poland – Wyszkow Rhinos @Poznan Armia, Sunday, April 7, 2p CEDT (8a EDT)
The 1-1 Poznian Armia will host their first game of the season Sunday, April 7 when they take on the 1-1 Wyszkow Rhinos at Golecin Stadion in the third round of Poland’s Liga Futbolu Amerykańskiego.
Poznian defeated the Zielona Gora Wataha 13-6 to open the season, but then lost last week to the Krakow Kings, 32-14, after taking a 14-0 lead.
The Rhinos will be looking to get on the win column after being beaten by the Olsztyn Lakers 38-35 and then the defending champion Bialystok Lowlanders last week, 41-0. With quarterback Jon Brown, who played for the 2018 Italian finalists, the Bolzano Giants, they could surprise.
The Armia are playing without imports this season under head coach Shannon O’Brien, so their 1-1 record is a pleasant surprise.
