LIVE STREAM: Sweden – Örebro Black Knights v. Limhamn Griffins

The Örebro Black Knights will play host to the Limhamn Griffins in Sweden this afternoon, May 23, at Behrn Arena stadium in Örebro.

The Black Knights, Swedish finalists the past two years, are looking to return to last year’s form after dropping a tough game 19-0 to the Uppsala 86ers in Uppsala last week. New head coach Randy Beverly, who did not Orebro Black Knightsarrive until just before the start of the season, is still getting to know his team. Quarterback Gran Welp spend much of the day last week running from Uppsala’s defensive line and even when he did get the ball away he was hit. Hopefully he will have an easier time this week. His offensive line must give him time to find his receivers, like Johan Stål, playing in his 100th career game in Sweden.

In his second season, Griffin’s head coach John Trana will be looking to turn a downward trend around after losing two straight to both Carlstad and Kristianstad. Quarterback Hampus Kristensson needs more time to find receivers such as Fredrik Eklund.

Defensively, Limhamn must find a way to put pressure on Welp. Swedish National team defensive lineman David Strobel & Co. need to step up their game and force the Black Knights signal caller to throw in a hurry.

These two teams meet again next week in Limhamn in a back to back series.

Kickoff: 4:00 PM Swedish time. 10:00 AM EDT
