The Stockholm Mean Machines open their 2025 Swedish Superserien season at home on Saturday, April 5 when they host the visiting Limhamn Griffins.

In the only meeting between these two teams in 2024, Stockholm defeated the Griffins 44-14.

The Mean Machines reached the Superserien championship game in 2024 but lost 51-22 to the Carlstad Crusaders. Meanwhile, the Griffins finished 6th with a 2-5 record and made it to the quarterfinals where they were eliminated by the Tyresö Royal Crowns, losing 35-16.

Stockholm head coach Fredrik Pilbäck will definitely have his team well prepared. Limhamn will be in tough.
