Mexico: Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional releases times and dates for 2023 schedule

Two months after the matchups were unveiled, the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional has released the dates and times for the games in the 2023 season, which will begin on March 4 at 5 PM CT, when the Reyes de Jalisco host the Tazón México V runner-ups, Gallos Negros de Querétaro.

This will be the biggest season in the LFA’s history both literally and figuratively, as they will have 10 weeks of football followed up by five playoff games including the championship game, Tazón México VI in Chihuahua. The league has also added three new teams to their lineup from the now-defunct Fútbol Americano de México in the Reds CDMX, Jefes de Ciudad Juárez and Caudillos de Chihuahua.

The LFA also now has a major sponsor that will be paired with their name and logo throughout the 2023 season. That advertiser in question is the sports betting website, BetRegal, making this season’s official name being “BetRegal LFA 2023.”
