Mario Medrano, Emilio Corona and Armando Moreno were among the players who contributed to the offensive outburst as UNAM repeatedly found ways to reach the end zone.
Although the Leones managed to put 24 points on the scoreboard, they had few answers for an offense that consistently moved the ball and capitalized on scoring opportunities.
The victory gave the Pumas an impressive 8–1 record and a Week 10 bye as they await their final playoff seeding and quarterfinal opponent.

The victory improved Puebla to 5–3 heading into its regular-season finale against local rival Aztecas UDLAP.
The Águilas Blancas, meanwhile, dropped to 2–6 after suffering their fifth consecutive defeat. They will close their regular season by hosting the Borregos Monterrey.
