The Örebro Black Knights have significantly boosted their offensive firepower by signing former UFL/NFL and ACC standout wide receiver Anthony Ratliff-Williams for the 2026 season, adding a dynamic playmaker with extensive professional experience to their receiving corps.
Proven playmaker at multiple levels
The 6’1″, 205-pound native of Matthews, North Carolina brings an impressive resume that includes standout collegiate performance with the North Carolina Tar Heels where he earned All-ACC honors as both a wide receiver and kick-return specialist. His college career featured 42 receptions for 689 yards and two touchdowns during his junior season, plus 895 kickoff return yards that ranked second nationally during his sophomore year. Ratliff-Williams is known for his deep-threat capability, yards-after-catch ability, and special teams versatility.
Professional experience across leagues
Following his college career, Ratliff-Williams gained valuable experience with NFL organizations including the Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders, and Seattle Seahawks. He continued developing in professional spring leagues, most notably with the Houston Gamblers (later Houston Roughnecks) where he compiled 41 receptions for 467 yards and four touchdowns across the 2022 and 2023 seasons. This professional background provides the Black Knights with a receiver accustomed to elite training environments and complex offensive systems.
Strategic addition for offensive boost
Ratliff-Williams’ signing represents a significant upgrade for the Black Knights‘ offense, providing a reliable target who can stretch defenses and contribute in multiple phases. His combination of size, speed, and professional experience makes him particularly valuable in the Swedish league landscape. For Ratliff-Williams, the move offers an opportunity to showcase his talents in Europe while bringing NFL-level preparation and routine to the Örebro organization as they prepare for their 2026 season challenges.
