Potsdam Royals lock in MVP quarterback Xaevier Bullock for 2026 German Football League season

The defending German Football League champion Potsdam Royals have secured a major piece of their future, re-signing 2025 championship game MVP quarterback Xaevier Bullock for the 2026 season.

From midseason addition to title winner
Bullock joined the Royals partway through the 2025 season and initially shared quarterback duties before seizing the starting role. His steady improvement and strong play down the stretch solidified him as the team’s leader under center, guiding Potsdam to the GFL championship game.

A championship performance
In the GFL Bowl against the Dresden MonarchsBullock delivered a statement game, throwing for 272 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 33–23 comeback victory. His second-half execution—flipping a 23–16 deficit into a 17–0 closing quarter—earned him well-deserved MVP honors.

Proven production at multiple levels
The 6’2″, 215-pound quarterback from Fayetteville, North Carolina, honed his skills at Lake Erie College (NCAA Div. II), where he passed for 2,337 yards and rushed for 580 more across 26 games. Before joining Potsdam, he lit up the German Football League with the Allgäu Comets in 2024, throwing for 3,820 yards and 48 touchdowns. Now back with the Royals, the dynamic playmaker looks to build on his MVP season and bring another title to Potsdam.
