Spain heads into second weekend of action

Spain’s American Football League heads into the second weekend of its 2019 schedule with a full slate of games

Madrid’s Osos Rivas (1-0) who were easy winners last week against the Gijon Mariners, will play host to the 1-0 Coslada Camioneros who also dominated in the first week of play, rolling over the Santiago Black Ravens.

The 0-1 Granada Lions, who dropped a 13-0 decision to the Fuengirola Potros will take on the Murcia Cobras (0-1) who lost badly to the Las Rozas Black Demons two weeks ago.

The defending champions, the Badalona Dracs (1-0), who have dominated the Spanish league in recent years, will head to Zaragoza to face the Hurricanes (0-1). Badalona whipped the Valencia Firebats in the first week of action while the Hurricanes lost a close one to the Mallorca Voltors.

The Santiago Black Ravens (0-1) will be at home against the 0-1 Gijon Mariners. Both teams suffered lopsided losses in opening round action.

The surprising Fuengirola Potros (1-0) will have a daunting task as they take on the powerful 1-0 Las Rozas Black Demons who pummeled the Murcia Cobras 41-6 two weeks ago.

Finally, in the livestream game of the week, the Valencia Firebats (0-1) will host the 1-0 Mallorca Voltors. Valencia suffered an embarrassing 46-12 loss to Badalona to open the season while the Voltors defeated the newcomers, the Zaragoza Hurricanes 14-7.
