AFI tv features games from 4 countries including Spanish semis

Another big weekend is in store on AFI tv with six games on tap from Austria, Italy, Poland and Spain, highlighted by the Spanish semifinals.

Saturday, May 1

The weekend kicks off in Poland with the Warsaw Mets (0-1) heading two hours down the road to Bialystok to face the Bialystok Lowlanders who open their season at home. The Lowlanders reached the championship final in 2020. Kickoff is 1 pm.

The Swarco Raiders are back in action in the Austrian Football League after losing in overtime last week to the Dacia Vienna Vikings and will be playing host to the (0-1) Prague Black Panthers who also lost a close one last week to the Danube Dragons. Game time is 3 pm.

The Bydgoszcz Archers (1-0) will be looking for their second straight win in the Polish Football League Saturday, May 1 when they host the 1-0 Krakow Kings at 4 pm. The Kings are also coming off a win after beating the Silesia Rebels Katowice 21-20 two weeks ago.

The Spanish semifinals kick off May 1 as the Mallorca Voltors who finished second in the East group, head to Madrid to take on the Las Rozas Black Demons, first place finisher in the West. Game time is 5 pm.

In Italy, the hometown and defending Italian champion Milano Seamen (2-1) play host to the unbeaten Ancona Dolphins (2-0) at 8 pm in what amounts to a must win game for the Seamen.

Sunday, May 2

In the only game on Sunday, May 2, the Badalona Dracs (7-1) are at home to the Osos Rivas (6-2) in the second semifinal in the Spanish League of American Football. Kick off is at 11 am.
