ELF: Paris Musketeers sign DB Kenny Floret

The Paris Musketeers have signed French defensive back Kenny Floret ahead of their inaugural season in the European League of Football.

Floret spent the 2022 season with the Dresden Monarchs of the German Football League.  In 10 games with the team, he recorded 38 total tackles, including three for a loss, as well as six pass break ups, one sack, and one forced fumble.  He returned kicks for Dresden as well.  In 2021, he played with the Kuopio Steelers of the Finnish Maple League.  Floret has also played at the international stage, representing his home country of France.

Though undersized at 5’9”, 187 pounds, the 25-year-old Floret makes his presence felt in the secondary with his impressive quickness and explosiveness.  Originally from the Paris area, Floret now returns to his home city to join the first French team in the ELF, which enters its third season this year.  Though the team was founded only a few months ago, the Musketeers are hopeful that they can make an immediate impact on the league in 2023.  A large reason for that is the ability to attract lots of talented French players, such as Floret, to the City of Light.
