Germany: Berlin Rebels re-sign QB Terrell Robinson

Berlin Rebels quarterback Terrell Robinson is returning for his fourth season with the club following another highly successful year in 2018.

The 6’3″, 200 lb 28 year old native of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, (University of Tennessee, Chattanooga) has led the Rebels to the German Football League playoffs for the past three years. In those three seasons he has thrown for 5,371 yards and 46 touchdowns in 33 games while rushing for 1,456 yards and another 20 touchdowns.  At Chattanooga, he was used mainly as a receiver but was also called upon to play quarterback and in his freshman season (2011) he scored 11 touchdowns. He transferred to Faulkner University (NAIA) in 2014 where he earned MSC (Mid-South Conference)West Offensive Player of the Year honors and was named All MSC Quarterback.

The Rebels defeated the Braunscheig New Yorker Lions twice in 2018 with Robinson behind center, the only team to have done that in the same season since 2012. In the second win, Robinson rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown.

Berlin opens the 2019 season on May 11 when they face the Potsdam Royals.
