IFAF Asia qualify

This weekend, Saturday the 4/26, is the IFAF Asia showdown between Japan and the Philippines. This game is a qualifier for the 2015 IFAF Senior World Championship Tournament held in Sweden next year.

Two weeks ago, South Korea defeated Kuwait 69-7 in the opening qualifying match  of the IFAF Asia region. The winner of this weekend’s matchup will face-off against the Koreans in the IFAF Asia qualifying final.

Although the #1 seed Japanese are favored, there is a rumor that the Philippines national team has been gearing up steadily, and that some members of the team have already arrived in Japan as of last week.

The IFAF Asia qualification game between Japan and the Philippines kicks off at 1:00PM on Saturday, April 26th at Aminovital Field.
