IFAF postpones Spain vs Israel
The International Federation of American Football (IFAF) has decided to postpone the upcoming game between Spain and Israel. The matchup was scheduled for next Thursday, August 19th as part of the 2020 European Championship Group B qualifying phase.
Both national teams had recently finished training camps in preparation for the game. However, the developing COVID 19 situation combined with strict travel restrictions between the two countries led IFAF officials to postpone the game until further notice.
Both Israel and Spain have 1-1 records. Israel has one win against Turkey and a 32-23 loss to Belgium while Spain defeated Turkey 30-25 but lost to Team Hungary.
