Takagi, Knight and Mitchell top X League Premier offensive charts after Round 6

Six rounds into the X League Premier season, Tsubasa Takagi of the Fujitsu Frontiers, Boogie Knight of the SEKISUI Challengers and Victor Mitchell of the Panasonic Impulse have moved to the front of the passing, receiving and rushing races.

With several teams having played only five games, however, there is little separation among some of the league’s top performers.

Takagi takes over passing lead

Tsubasa Takagi leads the league with 1,295 yards and 12 touchdowns through six games. The Fujitsu quarterback has completed 111 of 172 passes for 64.5%.

Pierce Holley is right on his heels despite the Obic Seagulls having played one fewer game. Holley has completed 98 of 150 attempts for 1,232 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging 8.2 yards per attempt.

Garrett Safron of SEKISUI sits third with 1,158 yards and 10 touchdowns while completing 116 of 178 passes.

Knight sets receiving pace

Boogie Knight has separated himself at the top with 42 catches for 597 yards and six touchdowns.

Behind him, the race is tight. Tay Cunningham of Obic has 31 catches for 529 yards and four touchdowns, averaging an impressive 17.1 yards per reception. Reece Horn of IBM Big Blue is just four yards back with 38 catches for 525 yards and six scores.

Mitchell keeps finding the end zone

Victor Mitchell continues to lead the ground game for Panasonic, rushing 60 times for 306 yards and seven touchdowns.

Sho Yoshizawa of the Nojima Sagamihara Rise is second with 270 yards on 50 carries, while Isaiah Khalil Malcome of the All Mitsubishi Lions has made the most of his opportunities. Malcome has gained 248 yards on only 32 carries, producing a group-best 7.8 yards per attempt.
