LIVE STREAM PPV: CFL – Saskatchewan Roughriders @Hamilton Tiger-Cats Sept. 15 7p ( 1a Sept. 16 CEST)

The 5-5 Saskatchewan Roughriders travel to Tim Horton’s Field in Hamilton Friday night to take on the 2-8 Hamilton Tiger-Cats in a Canadian Football League matchup which has huge playoff implications for both teams.

The Roughriders and Tiger-Cats are meeting for the second and final time in the 2017 regular season. Saskatchewan won 37-20 when the teams met at Mosaic Stadium on July 9. The Roughriders’ three-game winning streak ended Saturday, when they lost 48-28 to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Hamilton is coming off a 26-22 decision over the Ottawa Redblacks on Saturday — the Tiger-Cats’ second straight victory after they opened the season with eight consecutive losses.

Both teams are still chasing playoff berths.

Saskatchewan although last in the West, is only a game behind the 6-5 BC Lions and two behind the Edmonton Eskimos who are 7-4 and have lost four of the last six. The Tiger-Cats at 2-8 are still in striking distance of first place in the weak East division with a game in hand over the third place Montreal Alouettes (3-7) and second place Toronto Argonauts who are 4-7 and two games in hand over Ottawa with their 4-7-1 record.

Roughriders quarterback Kevin Glenn suffered a bruised throwing hand in the Winnipeg loss and is expected to be a game time decision. If Glenn can’t go, backup Brandon Bridge would make his first regular-season start for Saskatchewan.

Hamilton will line up with rookie Jeremiah Masoli who has replaced Zach Collaros for the two wins.

Since that last game in July, Hamilton has undergone a complete coaching overhaul with head coach Kent Austin stepping off the sidelines and June Jones replacing him.
