LIVE STREAM: Berlin Adler Host Swarco Raiders in Big6 Action

The Swarco Raiders travel to Germany to to take on the Berlin Adler in the first game in the Raiders quest to capture the elusive Big6 Eurobowl title.

Raiders head coach Shuan Fatah will face the team he coached to win Eurobowl 2009 for the first time since losing to them in Big6 2014. Previously, the Raiders had defeated the Adler 27-12 to win Eurobowl XXV in 2011.

The Adler upset the Braunschweig New Yorker Lions to win the Big6 and Eurobowl XXVIII in 2014 but struggled both in the Big6 and the German Football League last season.

Adler head coach Eric Schramm will start young German quarterback Paul Zimmerman but running back Emmanuel Moody will be a key for the Berlin offense to have any chance to beat Swarco. Moody has played for both the Vienna Vikings and the Dresden Monarchs and has beaten the Raiders.

Fatah has the Raiders playing well. They are undefeated in Austrian Football League play with quarterback Sean Shelton leading the AFL with 793 yards passing while throwing six touchdown passes. They defeated both the Stuttgart Scorpions from Germany and Finland’s Helsinki Roosters handily in Battle4Tirol action.

Running back Milton Knox had 14 carries for 135 yards and two touchdowns and caught five passes for 46 yards against the Roosters. He will be a key factor in today’s game.

Defensively, the Raiders have allowed a total of only 28 points in three games in Austria. Although Swarco will be playing in a hostile environment in Berlin, this will be a good test for them.

Kickoff: Sunday April 24, 3 PM (9 AM EDT)
