The BNL league kicks off the 2024 season with a rematch of the 2023 title game as the defending champion Amsterdam Crusaders play host to the Brussels Black Angels, Saturday, March 9 in Amsterdam.

The last time these two teams met was in the 2023 championship game which saw the Crusaders score two late fourth quarter touchdowns to overcome a 7-3 deficit to come away with a 17-7 victory.

The Crusaders will rely on quarterback Jasper Nijland who guided them to the final last year but was injured midway through the title game. Look for Amsterdam to use running back Berto Stuijt who was also a key to the 2023 title win.

Behind center for Brussels is French quarterback Jeremy Mini while defensively defensive lineman Jason Sims (Youngstown State) while anchor the front seven.
