The defending Russian champions, the Moscow Spartans, travel to Budapest, Hungary Saturday, April 13 to face the Budapest Cowbells in opening round action in the Central European Football League Cup play.

The Cowbells, Hungarian semifinalists in 2018, are making their third appearance in the CEFL Cup. They lost their only game in 2018 to Poland’s Gdynia Seahawks and in 2016 they played in the regular CEFL tournament, winning two games and losing two.

The Moscow Spartans are participating in the CEFL Cup for the first time ever after capturing the Russian title for the first time ever.
