LIVESTREAM CFL: Ottawa REDBLACKS @ Toronto Argonauts, Sept. 12, 19:00 CET (7 pm, 1 pm ET)
TORONTO — The Ottawa REDBLACKS hope their Week 14 bye can serve as a reset when they kick off Saturday’s Forty Creek Quadruple Header in Toronto against the Argonauts.
Toronto downed Hamilton, 37-22, in the OK Tire Labour Day Weekend meeting on Monday.
It’s the second of three matchups between the REDBLACKS and Argonauts this season, with Toronto taking the first, 44-24, back in Week 3.
Here’s three keys to victory for both teams ahead of Saturday’s 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, which can be watched on TSN or RDS in Canada, as well as on CFL+ in the U.S. and internationally.

OTTAWA REDBLACKS
1. CONSISTENCY UNDER CENTRE
Head coach Ryan Dinwiddie continues to show he’s confident in starting quarterback Jake Maier, and he’ll try to take that confidence into the pocket when guiding his team down the field this week. Maier completed 25-of-40 passes for 281 yards and a touchdown in the first meeting, although he also tossed two interceptions. If a turnaround is in order, it starts under centre.
2. GREG BELL
There may be no one more motivated to perform this week than REDBLACKS running back Greg Bell after he posted negative rushing yards against the Lions in Week 13. He’s the same guy who put up over 1,000 yards last season and will hope to have a breakout performance this week.
3. THE DEFENCE
The REDBLACKS injured list is lengthy and features several key players. They’ll get defensive lineman Cleyon Laing back on Saturday, providing a much-needed reinforcement for a unit that has recorded the fewest sacks this season. Further downfield, defensive back Alonzo Addae has to lead the secondary in shutting down the Argos’ plethora of playmakers.
