The Søllerød Gold Diggers (2-0) will host the Triangle Razorbacks (0-2) in this Danish National League matchup.

This is the final game of the Danish season before the month long summer break, so both teams are looking leave the field with positive momentum.

The Triangle Razorbacks expect to bounce back from two disappointing games to open the season. The 2019 champions are eager to make a run at the title making this game pivotal. Veteran quarterback Reed Gottula and his experienced offensive line matchup well with a Gold Diggers defense that features key players in their front seven.

Defensively, this Razorbacks unit is coached up by Polish defensive coordinator Wojciech Andrzejczak. The experienced play caller relies on linebacker Kenneth Bradley to be the leader for his defense on the field. The former Ithaca Bomber (NCAA D3) has been pivotal in helping this unit mesh. Young players such as Alexsander Klose look to the experienced tackler for leadership and tactical advice. Klose and Bradley will have to hold their gaps as the Gold Diggers offense has been running ball well all season.

This week, the Gold Diggers parted ways with quarterback Aaron Ellis, who has since signed with the Rovaniemi Nordmen of Finland. Fans can expect running back Rasmus Caroe to play quarterback. Interestingly enough, Caroe led the Gold Diggers to a victory over the Razorbacks last season playing a combination of quarterback and running back. Another option under center is Hjalte Dencher. Dencher is a young  pocket passer who exceled at the U19 level for both the Gold Diggers and the Danish National team. Expect Søllerød to rely on a strong defensive performance and running backs Eduard Molina and Christian Vahl to get the win today.

The Søllerød defensive line features 2020 Danish National League All-Star Logan Dykstra. Dykstra along with fellow import Sam Taylor make this physical defense a tough one to run against. Dykstra, Taylor, and the rest of the Gold Diggers front seven will have their hands full as the Razorbacks offensive line is one of the country’s best run blocking units.

Expect this game to be a physical affair as both teams love to run the ball. The Razorbacks have a chance to pull off the upset as this Gold Diggers squad tries to find a new offensive identity after loosing their quarterback. Fan hope to see another competitive game in the always entertaining Danish National League.
