The Munich Ravens (8-0) return from the league bye week looking to protect their unbeaten record when they host the Paris Musketeers (3-5) in a crucial European Football Alliance Week 12 matchup. While the Ravens have already secured their place in the EFA BIG4 Playoff Weekend, the Musketeers arrive in Munich needing a victory to strengthen their grip on one of the league’s final two playoff berths.

Ravens chasing perfection

The Munich Ravens have set the standard throughout the inaugural EFA season. Head coach Kendral Ellison’s team has won all eight of its games and enters the weekend with momentum after a convincing 48-12 victory over the Prague Lions before the break.

Quarterback Russell Tabor continues to lead one of the EFA’s most productive offenses, throwing for 1,965 yards and 22 touchdowns. On the ground, Justus Seelig has rushed for 370 yards and two touchdowns, while Benedikt Pohler has added 354 yards and one score, giving the Ravens a balanced attack capable of winning in multiple ways.

Although a playoff berth is already secured, Munich still has plenty to play for. Another win would preserve its perfect record and maintain momentum heading into a regular-season finale against the Nordic Storm that could determine the No. 1 seed.

Paris fighting to stay in control

For the Paris Musketeers, every remaining game carries playoff implications.

At 3-5, Paris currently occupies one of the final postseason positions but remains under pressure from the Prague Lions, who sit just one game behind. That leaves little margin for error over the final two weeks.

Quarterback Zach Edwards has thrown for 1,711 yards and 12 touchdowns this season while spreading the ball to a talented receiving corps led by Hugo Tekedam, who has 39 receptions for 584 yards and seven touchdowns. Yann Yaman and Torin Justice provide additional big-play threats, while Jason Bofunda has rushed 94 times for 415 yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, Mamadou Sy and Ilan Barbaras will be counted on to slow an offense that has consistently put points on the board.

Another playoff test

On paper, the Munich Ravens enter the game as deserved favorites, but the Paris Musketeers have no choice but to embrace the challenge.

A victory would not only strengthen Paris’ playoff position but also hand the Ravens their first loss of the season. For Munich, another complete performance would keep its perfect campaign alive and reinforce its status as the team to beat entering the EFA postseason.
