The defending champion Bialystok Lowlanders (2-3) will host the undefeated Krakow Kings (5-0) Sunday, May 26 as the Polish Football League heads into the home stretch of the 2024 regular season.

The Lowlanders had a rough start in the 2024 season, dropping their first three games. However, they have turned things around by winning the last two games. A loss this week will not eliminate them from the playoff picture, but will eliminate any hopes of homefield in the semi-finals and put them in a situation they must win out and/or get help from others.

Going into the weekend, the (5-0) Kings are the only team to have already clinched a playoff spot, and could guarantee home field in the semifinals with a victory over Bialystok.

One of the biggest questions in this game will  be how much impact Colby Campbell, the newly signed Lowlanders’ linebacker, will have on stopping the Kings running game. Also, how strategic will the Kings be when deciding which of their key players will play and when, knowing they have already secured a playoff spot.
