The fourth-seeded Kąty Wrocławskie Jaguars (6-2) host the fifth-seeded Białystok Lowlanders (5-3) in one of the most intriguing Polish Football League quarterfinal matchups Saturday, with two in-form teams battling for a place in the semifinals.
After opening the season with two straight losses, the Jaguars caught fire, winning six consecutive games to secure home-field advantage. The Lowlanders also arrive in excellent form after a strong finish to the regular season, setting up what promises to be one of the weekend’s closest playoff contests. The matchup also serves as a rematch of the 2023 semifinals.
Jaguars thrive through the air
No offense has been more explosive than the Jaguars this season.
Quarterback Rafał Rutowicz led the PFL with 30 touchdown passes, directing the league’s highest-scoring offense with 292 points. His receiving corps gives opposing defenses plenty of problems, with Fabian Paluszek, Daniel Bender and Jakub Krakowiak all capable of producing big plays.

Lowlanders bring balance
The Lowlanders counter with a more methodical offense built around balance and physical football.
Quarterback Brett Pullman threw 14 touchdown passes during the regular season, while Bernardo Horevitch finished with 77 points to establish himself as one of the league’s most complete players. The running game has become an increasingly important weapon as well, with Szymon Kazberuk, Pullman, Mateusz Zaremba and Tomasz Kropiewnicki helping control the tempo and wear down opposing defenses.
Contrasting styles collide
Saturday’s game pits the PFL’s highest-scoring offense against one of its most balanced teams.
The Jaguars will look to continue the momentum of their six-game winning streak by attacking through the air, while the Lowlanders hope to establish the running game and dictate the pace from the opening possession.
With two talented teams taking very different approaches to winning football, this quarterfinal has all the ingredients to become one of the most entertaining games of the Polish Football League postseason.
