The undefeated Bern Grizzlies (10-0) will take on the 5-5 Thun Tigers Saturday, July 9 in Bern, Switzerland in the Swiss National League semifinals.

The Grizzlies last won the Swiss title in 2016 and are definitely aiming to recapture the crown this season.

This is the third meeting between these two this season. Bern won the other two 24-7 and 36-6.

Behind the excellent play of quarterback Clark Evans, the Grizzlies have the best offense in the Swiss league averaging 31.9 points a game in the 10 game regular season, while the defense was dominant as well giving up just 7.2 points a game.

For the Tigers, this was their first year playing in the top division in Switzerland so qualifying for the playoffs was an enormous step. Still, they enter the game with the third best offense in the top league averaging 25.6 points a game but their defense struggled at times, surrendering 233 points in 10 games.
