The Luzern Lions play host to the Lausanne LUCAF Owls today, Sunday, July 2 in a crucial relegation game to decide which of the two teams  will play in Switzerland’s National League in 2018.

The Lions finished the Swiss Division 2 season with a 6-1 record. The only game they lost was to the Argovia Pirates but they gained revenge in the B league final beating the Pirates soundly, 43-12.

Lausanne finished the regular season in the NLA in last place with a 1-9 record, their only win coming against the Geneva Seahawks.
