Örebro Black Knights add European experience with OT Chris Sinnige

The Örebro Black Knights, who finished third in the Swedish Superserien with a 6-2 record last season, have strengthened their offensive line for the 2026 campaign with the signing of British offensive lineman Chris Sinnige. The 28-year-old brings valuable experience from multiple European leagues, having most recently played for the Bristol Aztecs in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) league following his 2024 season with the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns in the German Football League.

Bringing structure and physicality
Standing at 6’2″ and 295 pounds, Sinnige, from Bristol, developed his technical precision and physical playing style through experience with several European clubs, including the SGS Pride in Great Britain and the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns in Germany. His background in systems that emphasize detail-oriented, disciplined line play makes him particularly valuable for the Black Knights’ offensive front. Sinnige has also been a member of the British national team since 2018, adding international experience to his resume.

The intangibles matter
Beyond his on-field skills, Sinnige brings a professional, team-first mentality to Örebro. Described as humble and hardworking, he’s known for his preparation and ability to elevate those around him. For a team looking to challenge Superserien powerhouses, adding a lineman with winning pedigree and a detail-focused approach could prove crucial to making the next step toward championship contention. His experience in high-tempo, demanding environments should help stabilize an offensive line that will be key to the team’s 2026 ambitions.
