Video – European League of Football: Rating the Munich Ravens class of 2024 imports

The Munich Ravens are pushing strongly to become champions of the European League of Football in only their second season. They have the advantage of having one of the best collections of homegrown talent in their squad in the entire league. To do so, they will have to hit on their imports this season. They have a mix of returning players but have certainly made a lot of noise with their recent signings.

Two returning Americans on the roster will open us up as Chad Jeffries steps in at quarterback and Darius Saint Robinson at defensive back. Both are former all-stars in their respective positions. They will be imperative to the team’s success both on and off the field for the Ravens.

Jon Cole replaces the hole left at wide receiver by Markell Castle’s surprise transfer to the Frankfurt Galaxy. The former Arizona Christian spent last season in the GFL2, so seeing how he will adjust is a big question. The last American is another defensive back, Joshua Flower. The lengthy former BC Lion is highly regarded as an elite defensive back and is expected to be cornerback number one to Saint Robinson at safety.

The E-spots can’t exactly be named as Europeans in the Munich Raven’s case. Two New Zealand defensive linemen return with Etuale Lui on the inside of the line and Tyler Vaimaona lining up on the outside. Evans Yeboah is also going to count as an E this season. The Ghanaian defensive tackle is widely considered to be the best in his position and adds another all-star to the defensive unit.

Wael Nasri is also a former all-star. He is going to anchor the linebacker position and is also considered one of the best in his position, having proved it in the league in Berlin and Frankfurt. The last defensive piece is going to be Christoph Nitzlnander, the former Raider is a big prospect at cornerback and is tipped to be one of the best young Europeans in 2024. Completing the team is another all-star, this time on offense, is Tomiwa Oyewo. Yet another player who is at the pinnacle of their position. It is clear that they have targeted the best available players for their run in 2024. Let’s see if they can make it.
