Which 8 teams will play in the XFL-USFL merger?

Professional football in the post-NFL slot has combined to form one league this coming March. The XFL and USFL made the deal official, eliminating the competition for audience/fans during the spring season while perhaps improving the overall product.

Out of the 16 teams across the leagues, only eight will remain for the March 2024 kickoff — four from the XFL and four from the USFL.
