The XFL has been suspended indefinitely due to COVID-19.
The XFL had reached the midpoint of the season with another five rounds of play to go. Playoffs were scheduled for April 18 with the championship game set for April 26.
The league has also announced according to Kevin Seifert of ESPN that players are free to sign with NFL and CFL teams.
Re-posting for correct handle… @xfl2020 players have been given approval to sign with @NFL or @CFL teams once they complete exit physicals tomorrow, as @TomPelissero said. Otherwise, XFL players will be paid for their full season’s salary.
